If crysis 2 isn't the biggest console port of the year, I don't know what will be.
and the ignorant just keep on coming. Learn how cryengine3 works then come back.

You're trying to justify and defend a failed game, they screwed it up. There is no other way to look at it. I paid for the game through steam and from day one i've not managed to get it working properly. That's after a rebuild, bios updates, removing of my Physx card, driver updates etc etc etc.

Dude the term that defines what a console port is may not fit Crysis 2. But it's more than obvious the game was made for consoles and they almost didn't care to make a good pc game (compared to earlier crysis games)

Because Crytek wouldn't be where they are today if it wasn't for us PC gamers.

Okay, enough of your establishmentism.

The game is a profound disappointment and we deserve to hate on it for at least until the so-called DX11 patch comes out.

Get your kicks out of acting intellectual and defending a moot point somewhere else.

What happened to gameplay, though? Just because it doesn't just decimate your $1,200 dollar rig doesn't mean it's a crappy game. People still play Minecraft >.> The only reason Crysis 1's graphics were so insane was future-proofing, they wanted to make a game that would still be relevant on newer hardware, and they succeeded. Even after Crysis 2's release, Crysis 1 is still being used as a benchmark. They just took a different approach and came out with a good game. I've heard awesome things about the single player, but I haven't gotten to play through the entire game yet.

Sucks for you, but don't assume everyone has all the same issues are are experiencing. I haven't had any real issues aside from the few bugs that were fixed in the first couple patchs and none of them were game breaking. The game is hardly a fail, a majority of people who actually gave the game a real chance and weren't experiencing odd issues like you seem to be experiencing all enjoy the game.

Cryengine 3 is a game ENGINE! That 100% different from a game. Its a dev tool to make games. PC or Console.

Crysis 2 was made from the start as a console game then ported over to PC.
If you believe otherwise then you are highly uneducated on the matter and seeing delusions of grandeur.
