New look for VisionTek 6950's (Unlockable!) - Page 8

If you don't flash it properly, the computer won't boot up properly cause you don't have a video output unless you either had a 2nd video card, or onboard. How would you flash it back if you can't boot into the OS?

Anyways, if you don't have a dual BIOS switch I wouldn't cause it's too risky.

I put in a 2nd video card, and then flashed the one I borked. I had to put it in a PC to flash it anyways, PPC macs can't boot DOS without help.

Is there a way to tell if it's a reference or not?
AMD on the MB by the PCI-E section.

The only way to know if you can try to unlock it or not is if the dual BIOS switch is there next to the Crossfire connections. If not, well guess you're SOL on unlocking it, but you still got a pretty nice 6950.
