Is there a way to check this? I ran a blend test all night with a max temp after i cleared of 49c. This only pops up when blend is passing 1024k. I dont wanna burn up my chip due to max temp @ 76c. But if my temp really got to 86c wouldnt the bios shut down my pc?

It might or it might not. I ran my 555 BE at 75c (max of 58c) without the PC shutting down. I didn't have my heat-sink on properly.

Use CoreTemp and see if you get the same result.

If your cpu hit that high of a temp it would throttle or shut off.
