New custom build : screen freezing and buzzing noise

Thread Starter
I just built my gaming rig and it seems every so often the screen will freeze for about half a second and ill get a buzzing sound along with it. After the screen goes back to normal the buzzing sound stops. It can happen anywhere from a minute into a game to 30 minutes in. It can also happen in times of low stress such as going on Youtube. I've tried using windows sound drivers, i've tried using realtek's drivers, it seems with realtek's drivers the problem is actually worse.
When i disable both the ati high definition audio device and the realtek hd audio device i have no issues. my network drivers are updated and working fine and my gpu drivers are also updated and working fine. i have a 750w power supply so i doubt it could be a power issue. I'm stumped. Any suggestions?

attached is a dxdiag file with my information. if anyone requires anymore information to help diagnose this ill be happy to provide it. Thanks for any assistance.

Attaching a dxdiag report is virtually useless except for programmers.
Please fill out the template in the user CP for your system specs.

What motherboard is this? All we know is it's some Asus thingamagig.

What RAM do you have? Rated/certified speed?
Are you overclocking the CPU?
Have you tried disabling/uninstalling the ATI HDMI sound stuff and only using the realtek?

I see. Did you install the correct drivers?
The DXDIAG report says you have some Asus stuff installed, but your profile says you're using an Asrock board.

Please double check that.
Or are you just using a third party wireless card?
Name: ASUS 802.11n Wireless LAN Card
Device ID: PCI\\VEN_1814&DEV_0781&SUBSYS_130F1043&REV_00\\4&1 49C909A&0&00E0
Driver: n/a

Perhaps that might be part of the problem?

You can test this by going offline and seeing if you still get those freezes.
