Palit GPUs

Hello!
I was going to buy a Palit GTX 560 Ti 2GB but I'm still researching in forums.. And today I got to a few forums where the people have said "NEVER BUY PALIT!! ANYTHING ELSE BUT NOT PALIT!!" They didn't say why... So it brings me here with this question. Why I shouldn't buy a Palit card? What are the other comapnies' cards better with?

Thank you!

I have owned two Palit cards, a 9800GT and my GTX 460 which I am still using now, both of which have been brilliant. Personally I don't see what they are on about.

I will never buy a Palit product again ever since my 460's, Palit have a bad habit of trying to do things on the cheap - plus if you've ever tried contacting their support you'll realize they cant even string together a sentence in english correctly, so good luck with any support should anything go wrong.

I cant speak for the 560ti in particular, but if its anything like the 460 then you're going to have a great alternative source for cooking breakfast on!

Well, I'm with a Palit 9600GT now and I don't have ANY problems. When I start playing games - I switch the FAN to 100% and it never gets over 45 C. I asked 1 friend which is supposed to know more about these things but I don't think he's very good informed. He's only 15 years old tho... :/ So he told me that Palit cards have around 20-30% lower Texture Units and they operate around 20-30% slower. Plus that he told me that the FAN is full of crap and the Palit cards get very hot. But the thing is that I'm with a Palit card too.. And I don't have any temperature problems. My room is around 20-25 C. It's not very cold. It's a normal temperature. And if I don't do anything my Graphics Card stays around 35 C. And I tough the Palit cards are very good but I still read forums. And many people say that Palit are awful cards. :/ So I need more information about them. :/ And are they worth it.. :/

Well m8 you need to remind yourself that you're running your fans at 100% Speed in order to get those temps, the noise must be awful.

What kind of temps do you get running at a normal fan profile?

Im not saying all Palit cards are bad - only sharing my negative experience of the 460.

Plus as i said their support do not speak proper english, so obtaining any RMA will be a pain. (i suppose thats to be expected, i believe they're a russian based company)

I have SLI 9600GT's and well they dont run as cold as you, folding for around 8 Hrs today and my room got pretty hot, with defult fan profile i was getting 78c on the top card and 67c on the bottom card so they dont run cold but other than that i have never had any problems with mine at all.
