Dude, it was your recommendation and your link. And now you're taking it back all of a sudden only because you do not want to look like someone claiming wrong things ?

Come on .. We all make mistakes sometimes.

Ah, I see.

However, I got the expression there seemed to be no XFX available in India, and it seems like there are several.

I’d pick an i5-2500K over an i7…more bang for buck, most games won’t take advantage of the additional grunt from the i7. I’d also think carefully about a liquid-cooling option like the H70. I’m not going to comment on its performance, I’ve heard it’s very good, but it does raise the risk of water leakage. Occurrences seem to be vanishingly small, but that will be little comfort if your system gets leaked on. Have a Google on ‘H50 H70 leak’ and see how you feel about it yourself.

You probably don’t need 8GB RAM for gaming at this stage. 4GB (2x2GB) will be plenty, and you can always add more later.

Check newer 6950s can be reflashed to become 6070s. I’m not sure they can be now. Also, I’ve heard that GTX570s can be damaged if you try to OC them, but the GTX560 is rock-solid.
