Its the other way around for me, the slower card gets overclocked to the faster cards speeds.

Just get the new motherboard and second GPU, you can overclock that 2500k a little on stock v-core...

As to your stuttering.. How full is the drive? Defrag? Anything running in the background? (antivirus etc)... Or mabye general network lag...

the drive is almost empty and got just defragged. There are programs running in the background, but imo that coulnd't be the problem... It has antivir antivirus, steam, flashget, intel rapid storage technology (whatever that might be lol).

Which motherboard do you advice? And what do you mean by overclock a little? could I get it to 4 ghz (just want a stable overclock, not an overclock to the limit, don't want to lower the lifespan of my cpu...)

I would be looking at someting like this...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128478

Others would probably recommend the ASUS boards.... like...

With your Hyper 212, you will hit 4Ghz easily... As long as you don't go crazy on the v-core a higher clocked CPU will still last a long time.

Both of those boards are really very good. I like the look of the UD4!

i'm doubting between the asus sabertooth rev 3 and msi GD65... Tho i'm more into the MSI because of the OC GENIE II stuff... Does that feature also check if your system runs stable after the automatic overclock?
OC Genie is only useful if your not prepared to put any effort into overclocking the CPU yourself. The community here will be happy to help you overclock manually. I don't know much about it but personally I wouldn't use OC Genie because it leaves me no control over the voltage settings and such.

Also it is rumored that Gigabyte is only to stop producing P67 boards and move over to the new Z68 boards. Just though I'd let you know so you can take all the information into account.
