I like Avast. It works better than AVG and uses no system resources.

The report did seem very slanted towards pay programs, I wonder if they really are that much better or something else is going on here.

I've used Avast + Comodo with an occasional Malwarebytes scan for years and I've never had any problems.

Malwarebytes is easily the best free protection. I've always used and never really had any problems with.

I was very disappointed to find out recently that the SLI patch does not work with Avast Anti-virus installed....

There's nothing else out there I want to switch too...

I've used Avast and MB for ages without a problem.

MSE let AV2010 slip through once...never again.

Paid: NOD32
Free: Avast, Avira.. I used both and both did well for me.

Nod32 (often regarded as best) and kapersky are both great. But neither make common sense appear, if you were safe and didn't just click on random stuff you don't need one.

hmm....am I the only one using McAfee?

Work uses it and I thought it was a decent enough AV. I also got a hefty discount via work.
