Since you only bothered to write a sentence, and speak like a fool. I will assume you are one, so I will explain in the hopes it will benefit you.

If a law says...Hmm.. That releasing information of a American chopper killing civilians is illegal.. Guess what? You will be imprisoned, fined, and the site will be taken down.

If a law says...Hmm... Releasing information of the police brutely murdering a kids parents right in front of him because of them being part of a communist party... is illegal. You can be imprisoned, fined, and the site will be taken down.

None of us are really talking about the organization, we are talking about the FBI shutting down on online gambling, and shutting down websites.

Edit: Before you mistakenly say "Your a idiot, people upld to utube. not utube itslef"

The host is responsible for the content it holds, since once again you most likely can't understand that, I will give a simple example.

A teacher hits a kid, the kid can sue not only the teacher, but the school, and even the district.

The teacher: For hitting
The school: for allowing it to happen in the first place
The district: Because the district is responsible for the school.

I use this example, because with the media as it is, you most likely have heard of similar stories.

I hope you have learned a little something from this post, and next time you post, you attempt to speak like a adult, not a child. I don't mean to offend, but if you act a certain way, expect to be treated a certain way.
because you insisted on being such a prick:

your post is unintelligible gibberish. i can't identify even one point you are attempting to make. furthermore, your legal illustrations are oversimplistic generalizations of issues which you base on no authority.

Someone needs to learn some manners.

I'm sorry, I'm not as high and mighty and as all knowing as you.

Your post is utter nonsense. So are you saying that you support copyright infringment and treason right? I can like Youtube, and not agree with people putting up copyrighted things(although sometimes things are taken to far).
I can agree with the concept of wikileaks, but not agree with what they actually have done.

Also, I do not see how this relates to online poker sites having bank fraud, and being busted for it. I see absolutely no point in your post.

They have funded/paid for all of my PC upgrades, my HTPC, a 50" TV, down payments for 2 cars, dental/hospital bills, taxes, credit cards, etc.

Honestly, too much to list.

Lol, I find it funny people believe these sites to be rigged. I literally deposited ONLY $40 over a year ago on Poker Stars and in 6 months built my roll up to $2000 where I then started playing 50nl ($50 buy in) tables. Monthly, I'd make a couple of thousand from playing 25nl and 50nl while keeping around $2000 on the site.

I spent over 150 hours studying off the tables and over 200 hours playing at smaller tables to develop a winning understanding and strategy of the game as I worked to move up stakes. It's like a job and you CAN make a solid income from it.

It's all about bank roll management (having enough buy ins to account for variance), knowing how to put people on card ranges, knowing your odds and outs, reading board textures, being aware of table dynamics. Then there are elements you need to study off the table including previous history with players, notes on players etc. studying hands where a lot of money was at stake to see if you made the most optimal play, looking for leaks in your game, and on and on and on...

Poker is a long term game (put in about a 1,000,000 hands in a year). Play 4-5 hours a day for a year and you'd understand.

One last note: It takes a LOT OF WORK. It's a job and you have to be good at it. Now, I'm trying to find some part time job in a crappy economy that can't even compare to what I was doing with poker.

Im glad you brought this up. Poker isn't gambling, and if you know what you are doing you will make money overall. When Phil Ivey was once asked if he was ever scared of loosing it all, he said not at all. He said he looks at poker as a normal job where if he puts in the time and effort, he WILL make money at the end of the day.

Absolutely. The sites weren't stealing money; people who understood basic math and had enough patience to weather the short-term swings were very likely to come out ahead in the long run.

Except for Ultimate Bet, and a few obscure sites over the years. But your points stands, the major sites are 100% legitimate. The only issue I ever had was when Pokerstars busted a group of cheaters from China, and they reimbursed me less than I felt I was owed.

Still, one can look at that as proof of their legitimacy. Stars contacted me first and offered the refund. They could have never said anything and kept my money.

This is why I don't think we should trust ICANN, they just let anybody with a badge take a domain name... Let's go back to typing out IPs.

I wish UB was the one that got shut down, as they completely deserve it. PS & FTP on the other hand, they are 100% legitimate sites who looked for alternative means to allow U.S. players to fund their accounts, based on a BS law that was passed last minute with an unrelated bill in 2006 without any public debate.

If it wasn't for that stupid law, the sites wouldn't have had to do what they did.
