[DM]FBI Shuts down 3 major poker sites - Page 10

This was done in such a horrible way. I have plenty of friends, and my self, who have quite a large sum of money in our accounts on pokerstars and the money is now seized and frozen. For now, at least. This is some people's lively hood. How would you like it if randomly someone came to your workplace, fired everyone and said your industry is banned from the US.....

Well since they are losing dollar participants right and left someone has to pay their swap spread. Haliburton isn't going to deliver 400 dollar a gallon gas to afhganistan without it.

Bye bye brics. Guess that little reserve currency thing that is keeping gas at 4 dollars for us and 5 and 6 bucks for other people is going to stop working.

You couldn't bear false witness about a person if they handed you a hard drive full of information about themselves with instructions on how to distort it into some kind of believable stereotype. You've created an entirely new bottom layer on the disagreement heiarchy. Clueless ad homenim.

great now the government is shoving their noses where it doesnt belong again...

government needs to start focusing on bigger thiings and stop worrying about being so money driven and useless

good thing the world doesnt revolve around FBI and noone else gives a rats ass about what they have to say. these poker sites will continue to operate

Are you watching closely?

Disproving: I have read the source, I could care less of your opinions, and finally you cannot see me.

Disproving: I never said "news channels. The FBI has been given the right to shut down sites, much like this one without permission from any other branch, much like how they have shut down piracy related sites, for instance peekvid has been removed, peekvid was a website that linked to videos for movies, and tv shows. I was speaking of this which is directly related as both are illegal, and both were removed from the internet. The FBI has been shutting down similar sites, and when you control information you control the people, now do you not believe this will become self perpetuating , since you don't know the meaning of the term, allow me to explain further, if you give the government the power to shut down a site completely, do you not believe that eventually at one point they will shut down sites like wikileaks, to block information to getting to the public, and there for continue controlling them?

Quote:

Yes, they do have good reason. For instance when America finally decided to go to war with Nazi Germany, was only when they decided it was a threat to themselves, when America finally decided to be against Cuba, was only when it was a threat to them, as in when Castro and the movement removed a US backed dictator.

America including the FBI, will always chose to fight in their own interests, as many have posted on here you will see that there is a reason for this.. not laundering, but out of their own interests of controlling, and regulating.

I hope you can understand, if not I suggest you stop posting, you already have offended numerous people on here.
