Problems since installing my SSD

Hey guys.

Since I installed my SSD everything is much faster. I did all the SSD tweaks recommended online and ran the SSD tweak program. I enabled AHCI in the registry and in the BIOS of my mobo.

The problem is since I installed and enabled AHCI, my system seems less stable. I wasn't having any issues until I switched to AHCI (I installed in IDE mode). It slows down randomly sometimes and I've even gotten a BSOD.

I started at stock clocks just to see if that was causing it, and my sound card wasn't outputing any audio, I had to disable and enable it in the device manager to get audio back.

Whats going on ? My drive is super fast but it's a pain in the ass.

When you change that controller, a reload is usually required. Sometimes changing it can actually make your computer no longer boot into Windows.

I just reformated windows using AHCI from the start and I'm still getting terrible sequential read/write scores in the AS SSD benchmark.. 18X / 57 or something like that. Shouldn't I be hitting 250/220 ish or something? OCZ spec is 275!
