Ok so I finally got round to updating my loop!

Here is what it looked like to start with:

But I wasn't happy with the layout, I don't know what I didn't like but I knew i didn't like it!

I decided to go with white tubes and a red theme.

The box arrived!

When I went to put on the new backplate I came across this mess that the AWFUL apogee xt backplate left...(wouldn't ever have one of those again)

Started to put all the new bits in

Leak testing!

Done!

I know it's not a massive worklog but I figured i would show the changes I made.

Which do you prefer? the before or after?

I like "After" better...

On the other note. I would place the pump on the case fan.

if you mean the one above where it is now, it won't fit with the 5970 there.

One (nearest in pic) is mounted on the bracket that holds/releases the door, the other is stuck to the back of the case behind/under the radiator.

I had to cable tie one end because it didn't want to stay, if the other side starts dropping off I will cable tie that side too. UV and red sounds good.

Personally I'm not to sure about the red in my case, it certainly makes it brighter inside but I think a blue light would have looked better with the white tubing. Oh well, it's a 2 minute job to change the cathodes so that's no big deal.

Yeah, I bet blue light would look sexy in that.
