Well protected and powerful Wireless Router

Hi i'm looking to get a new wireless router for my home, new main desktop for home and lots of laptops moving about now and my little netgear isn't really doing the job.
Basically I want to get a powerful router that could cover a small home, (only one floor) as my net gear isn't able to reach the back of the house. Its all brick walls and a lot of them which is likely what is killing it as it is at the very front of the house.
If possible I'd like a router that has quite a good built in hardware firewall, an extra level of protection would be nice. (I think my netgear is supposed to have one, but it isn't very good)

So to simplify, powerful wireless router that has a wide coverage and is well secured. Other features would be nice but those two are the only ones that matter to me, and obviously not too expensive.

most 802.11n routers will be perfect for the job how ever you will probability have to have wireless repeaters around the house as well considering you have allot of brick walls and depending on how much range you are trying to cover

Thank you willage, I had been looking at these, the linksys E3000 in specific as it seems to do most things, I am not covering the largest range and the netgear can nearly do it, and it is a 802.11b/g bandwidth, so i'll try 802.11n ones
