OCing my cpu to 4ghz doubled my GPU vantage score?

just wondering if thats normal? didnt think it would jump that much..

so i ran vantage @ stock speed and got
p10739 / cpu-19170 gpu-9366

then ran @ 4ghz(166x24) and got
p20758 / cpu-24060 gpu-19631

big increase!

video card was OCd to 900/1300 for both tests.

LOLWUT? Are you sure you didn't just read the first one as 9366 instead of something like 19366?

No, the first test wasn't run at the right clock speeds or you were doing something in the background. As you can see, your CPU scored 20k before. It's easily enough to get you 20k GPU score.

ima try lower the cpu back to stock and try again

More likely, the slower clock speed on the CPU was bottlenecking your GPU setup. Either that or some hidden task was taking up clock cycles, Windows update is well known for silently doing stuff when it's most annoying.

Edit: Do 3 (or more) runs at each clock speed to get accurate results.

my rig gets 18000 and change!! Must have been something wrong cause your CPU is better and would score higher at stock.
