GTX560 Ti vs. 6950 2GB - Page 5

really so the benches in page 3 were wrong and im talkin stock for stock not overclocked,if the 560 is soc of course it beats a 6870 at stock, and i know the 6950 is better than the 560 and 6870,but they didnt have it in stock which blew, and the 560 i had wasent messed up ive read a ton of posts were people have had issues when overclocking them at stock it was fine...oh i see the 6870 in the benches was a toxic card which was beating the 560 stock,my apolagies i read it wrong,so if i overclock my 6870 it il beat a 560 stock at alot of things, and for me the 6870 is giving me better fps it has to be my mobo compatability bc the 560 was fine at stock i dont think if it was defective i woulda got good fps at all

the 560 is not worse than the 6870. it is better in most apps, period. your card was messed up, now move along.

oh and one more for the road...the 6950 is better than the 560.
You still haven't answered where a 6950 @ 940MHz consistently beats a 560 @ 1000MHz. The review I posted shows they are quite similar. Sometimes the 560 is ahead, sometimes the 6950 is ahead.

Your monitor is 1080p, the resolutions in the graphs on page 3 are completely irrelevant to your system...

The cards are pretty much dead even with a slight advantage to the GTX 560.

No, the HD6950 is not faster, I haven't seen a review site saying that.

If I were you I'd choose the GTX 560 because it overclocks very well, it has low temps and it's a beast at that price. Easily reaches GTX 570/HD6970 performance with OC (check the review above).

HD6870 is also a fast card and shouldn't be overlooked if you're on a budget. Hell, i'd even recommend the GTX 470 if you can find one for $200.
