Turtle beach PX5

Thread Starter
Man, I wish my x41s look like this :'(.

They have some nice features no doubt... I kinda of want them. Im a sucker for wireless headsets, I hate having wires getting in the way. Also when I need to get off my PC fast I just pull out mic cable(very thin and light weight, does not get in the way ).

Price is a little more than I paid for my X41s though.. If those are anything like mine I know they will be sturdy and last me 2+ years easily.

How GI can put those two together in the same article I'll never know. They're overpriced garbage. $100 AT's will wipe the floor with those.

Couldn't agree with you more, what nonsense!

Also, OP: an all plastic frame like that isn't going to be sturdy at all. If you want something sturdy get Beyerdynamic, Grado, or AKG. I don't know about Sennheiser, they seem to be mainly lightweight plastic as far as the HD555 and lower-end ones go but their SQ is way better than "gaming" headsets.

Get a decent pair of "real" stereo headphones and a Zalman clip-on microphone, they'll outlast any plastic surround-doohickeys marketed mainly towards "gamers" and adolescents who don't know about better. Those surround headsets and whatnot aren't terrible per se, but they're overcharging a lot. I would pay one tenth of that price they're trying to sell the Turtle Beach for. The funny thing is some people will actually buy them and even brag about them.
