Let's not forget Palit, for not including VRM heatsinks on retail models while the review sample did in fact have them.

Let's not forget EVGA who sent a fellow forum goer a grossly bent motherboard.

Let's not forget MSI who's boards pop when you so much as drop an X6 in them.

Let's not forget Gigabyte for horrible customer service and inexcusably long RMA times.

Let's not forget OCZ who's DDR3 RAM was luck of the draw at best.

Let's not forget Corsair for their (at first) silent revision of their power supplies.
Yeah I was more saying poor XFX, I mean they are going through a very hard time. All those other companies (Except OCZ I think) Have huge sales and good rating in at least one of the things they make

Don't worry, he didn't read them either. He just read until the first couple posts made by people who didn't read the full thread, then decided that I would be his debate partner for today. Unfortunately, I have things to do so I can't fully engage in this ridiculous internet argument by a guy who's already made up his mind against me without getting a firm grasp on the facts. I've gotta go to the UPS hub, and maybe call AMD. I don't have time for this crap.

Thankfully we have users who can leak newer builds.

However, I'm not sure if it supports your 6770 as it only lists 6750 in the list. Couldn't hurt to try.

So you tell people not to trust random guys on the internet, and then quote a random guy off the internet to try to refute me? Bonus points: contradiction!

Now how about you actually read the thread? The 11.4 beta drivers still don't support the 6750 and 6770, so unless AMD patches that in at the last minute the next driver release still won't support these cards. That means that if these cards are released early, they're at least one month early since we probably won't see driver support for them until 11.5. At one month before release, XFX shouldn't even be shipping these to Best Buy in the first place. A week early, sure. A month or more early? That's a screw-up of epic proportions, and well deserving of a thread like this.

That's assuming AMD even intended these to sell at retail!

So before bad-mouthing me, why don't you actually try to understand the situation first?
Just curious, do the drivers not work for Windows 7 either? Or just Windows Vista/XP?

Also, in Logistics, you ship products to distributors months in advance to ensure their logistics chain has enough time to ship out the products to their retail stores.

In this case, XFX would ship hundres of these Video cards to Bestbuy's Regional Distribution facilities. Bestbuy's internal Logistics dept would then decide when to arrange shipments to their local stores.

XFX doesn't make delivery directly to the bestbuy local store. So yes this card was probably released too early, but i'd say its Bestbuy's Regional distribution's fault for jumping the gun and sending out the card to their local stores.

Try to understand all possible scenarios before just jumping on the XFX bash wagon.

its easier to complain and blame than to troubleshoot.

I have in fact read all pages of this thread. I'm not against you. I'm against the ignorance and undeserving hate you post. Yes, the drivers are not there yet. Because the card isn't even meant to be on the shelves yet! Don't blame the brand that's on the box.

It's Best Buy's decision to have the cards on the shelves. If XFX has cards boxes and shipped then surely AMD has drivers on the way, or they are ready and waiting for the release date.

Polite as usual Phaedrus. Give an educated, punctuated post, get one in turn. ^_^

Because Best Buy is told everything right? Wrong. They got this new shipment in, they don't know if it works yet, but they assume so since they received it in the last shipment. What do they do? Up on the shelves it goes. I'm about to go to the Best Buy here in town and tell them this story.

Don't blame the store that sells it, they just sell the product that another produces.

I'm just against people that think the amount of Rep or Posts they have means that they can post ignorance and hate when all I want is a polite discussion of the facts.

EDIT: Still waiting on an answer as to why he still buys XFX products if he hates them so much

You guys do understand that vendors send products well in advance to companies all the time right? It's the responsibility of the retailer not to break the street date. This is a good reason as to why.

I think a lot of hate is being misdirected here. Trust me, I know a lot about XFX hate. Some people will understand this, but most won't.

LOL

card without drivers, and user is to blame because he doesn't want to troubleshoot, flash BIOS and whatnot
