Redoing my loop.

Thread Starter
I use 1/2" right now, and was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on what size tubing I should use in an 800d. Also, what color tubing should I get to match my color scheme? Here's my case:

I want to replace my tubing, part way to get rid of PrimoChill, and part-way to get rid of that awful braided stuff. Also, while I have it pulled apart, I'll probably redo the loop order as well, since it's horrible. Can you help me with that, too? I'm mostly thinking for looks here, cause I know there aren't huge performance differences between different loop setups.

Light brown.

Jk, I say white or blue.

Spin the 360 radiator around so that the barbs are at the other end. I'm assuming you have the pump/res in the drive bay, so do this: pump/res > 360 rad > cpu > 240 rad > gpu > pump/res. Should give you a shorter, cleaner looking loop.

Also, consider getting angled barbs to prevent such sharp bends going to your 240 rad.

Blue and white tubing.

You could just cut the drive bay out and install the 240 down there.

I agree with blue and white tubes

White/blue tubing (even some UV tubing could be cool too) and stick with 1/2. Anything smaller, IMO, gets dwarfed by the huge interior of the 800D and looks crappy compared to 1/2"-3/4".

I would mod your case and put the 240rad at the bottom case. Your loop will even cleaner. I like 1/2 tubing, color of your choice (although blue match your motherboard), but I refer white or black tubing.

As skkhai said, turn the rad around.
