Thread Starter
Hi guys. I have unlocked the shaders on my 6950, and OC to 915 - 1390mhz gpu voltage is at 1.200.

Is this a safe oc? hence the voltage. can\\should i increase or decrease ?

Since it is a reference card that temps and the oc are just beautifuL

1.3 is the max. Don't take my word for it though.

How come you say you unlocked and oc'd yet in your build it says 6970 in brackets, which one is it a 6970 flash or 6950 modded bios?

1.175 is the stock voltage for a 6970, so safe.
Anything above about 1.2 I reckon would probably be at your own risk.

What do you get with stock voltage?

I get 880/1375 with stock 1.1

and 920/1400 at 1.11! and I've tested this one on everything no crashes.

Doesn't seem worth pumping excess voltage through these anyway for the small increases. Only my opinion though cheers have fun with it!

I also have the same card. I seem to be stable at 880/1375 with stock voltage seems too good to be true but no artifacts or crashes yet

BTW have any of you flashed the clocks or is it true we are all forced to use third party programs like afterburner?
