what's the difference between H50/H70 and

real water cooling systems?

I hear from many people that said H50/H70 are fake water coolers or something

also, real water coolin systems can get better temps than h50/h70

The difference is that these are contained all in 1 solutions as opposed to custom building a loop.

For example, the h50 consists of a single radiator, and then the pump/cpu block all in 1. This is different from having a custom loop where you have a separate block, radiator, pump, reservoir, etc. A custom loop is going to perform vastly superior compared to these options because of the components used.

These will perform well, but no better than the Noctua you currently own.

Don't know how it can be fake. Has water, rad and pump. Yes a full loop gets better temps. And for the price of a H70 might as well get a XSPC Rasa RS240 for $129.99. I will be ordering one tomorrow.

It's a sealed loop watercooling unit, custom loops will give you cooler temps, the H70 is a revised Model of the H50

Also, can you post up your CPU-z screens, i'm surprised you got your rig running on that PSU.

His PSU is not even close to what it can run. I'd be surprised if he's using half.

The 'difference' between H50/H70 and 'real' watercooling is like the difference between a prebuilt Dell (eg Inspiron 560) Desktop and a rig custom built by yourself, in the sense of cost, cooling power, customer support/warranty and the ease/degree of future upgradability.

Yea, as explained with the Dell example. Dell is a "Fake" computer in the same sense the H50/70 are "Fake" water coolers. Yes, they are in fact water coolers but just cheaply made for mass markets vs the vastly superior Custom Loops.
