When the file is unpacked, it shows 5 files that were compressed, they are listed as follows, in this order:

Changelog.IntelBurnTest.txt
IntelBurnTestV2.exe
linpack64.exe
linpack32.exe
Readme-IntelBurnTest.txt

That is all...there are no "LinData" folders that normally must be extracted to the same directory folder as the IBT.exe itself.

linpack64.exe and linpack32.exe are the Linpack files. Herp derp, who would have thought right!? You also need Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 to use the AVX Instructions in the new Linpack. munaim1's IBT worked for me.

After unzipping ALL files to a Specified Folder, instead of just double-clicking on the IntelBurnTestV2.exe as instructed, only then did I see the "Lindata" folder that is needed for the test to run......"herp derp" buttkick.gif

Yep...wow....GFlops doubled, but my stability also changed significantly. Went from 1.284v stable after 20 passes with max temps around 65ºC, to 1.344v (trying to go lower) with max temps around 75ºC frown.gif

I didn't pass at 1.32v so I immediately jumped to 1.344v and it stabilized, so now I gotta slowly take it down cause those temps are way to high for my liking.

Why is CPU-Z not showing correct Vcore....it's only showing like 1.044v confused.gif

got to 'Sandy Stable club' in my sig and you should find download links to the updated versions of cpu-z and real temp.

EDIT:
I successfully passed 20 runs on IBT with new linkpack a few days ago but cpu gets 10c more hotter than prime blend does after 12hours. I guess you could say IBT works well as a maximum stress tester and prime is a failry moderate stress tester that produces temps accordingly to your overclock. For me during gaming my cpu never goes above 55c, Prime after 12hours peaks at 70c and averages mid 60s, IBT kills it by going 10c higher to 80c.

IMHO prime is better cause when it comes to testing temps against overclock, you have extra room to play with. If I didnt use prime to test stability then i would have most likely tone down my overclock because 80c is too high for my liking. Prime is a lenthy process that stresses the cpu more than any software or games (exception IBT/LinX) and so temps are measured accordingly.

Well, that's the CPU-Z I have...even after downloading from your link...installed and got the same thing..RealTemp is acutally working properly now, although it doesn't show Vcore.

In my Bios, its states 1.344v right now and I don't think that 1.044v, according to CPU-Z, is going to get to 75ºC.

Thats strange, are you reading the temps on idle or load also are you using offset voltage and do you have all the safety features turned on?
