It is like the H70 but keep in mind the res/pump combo is efficient enough to run another loop in the future should you want to upgrade again to GPU cooling.

The H70 is a closed loop system, you can't just add another component.

If you really want to get into water cooling get the full RS360 with fans in push pull format, again it would still adequately cool the rest of your components. Besides making stuff fit in a case "not designed" for it sounds like a challenge and would be Uber if done right

Or you can get the RS240 kit instead which just has a 240mm RAD with dual fans.

I concur with the others, wait for the new CPU's / Mobo's to be released, install water, or go eyefinity. Otherwise your comp is sweet.

Well if you don't like the feel of mech switches that's one thing (there are many different kinds though), but I doubt you'd be disappointed with some higher quality sound.

Not sure what % your gaming/music is, but it sure looks like a lot of gaming - a pair of Audio-Technica A700s (M50s if you want more bass) + a mic would do ya just fine IMO
I'd also consider just blowing all the money on a real nice set of studio monitors, but then again I value my tunes just as much if not more than my games - so that's not entirely practical

Other than that I'm out of ideas - more storage if you need it? Maybe a Nas box or server....just drives for an internal array?

You'll definitely be able to max everything out with eyefinity, I can do so just fine at 5760 x 1200 with 1 6990.

I heard it does x8-x8-x4, would I notice a lot of performance hit? Is it worth it or should I stay on Crossfire?

My birthday is in about 3 weeks, and I am probably going to have around 200€-400€ to mess with...

What should I upgrade on my PC?

I was thinking of:

- Saving it for Ivy Bridge and Kepler graphic cards or whatever comes out from AMD at 28nm
- Getting my i7 2600k and both 6970's on water or just the CPU
- Getting 2 more monitors for Eye-Finity, then again I'm scared that 2 6970's wont be enough to max out all current games @ +60fps

What would you do in my position? Keep in mind I'll have from 150€ up to like 350-400€

Thanks in advance to any replies,
Kevin.
The first two, you can eyefinity later. but 2 6970's should be enough, i was maxing out games with my oc 470's.

When you mean just fine, what sort of frame rate you get on latest games? And what settings?

Thanks mate

Why? 2x 6970's in crossfire is more powerfull than the best cards on the market (6990's) debateable I know but there has been some solid evidence.

Anyways, looks like your option is Eyefinity
