BUT AHA! AQUAERO 5 IS HERE! *edited title for update! - Page 7

That makes things more interesting... I can't bear the sound of a jet take-off while trying to sleep (thanks Ultra-Kaze's 3000!), but I keep it on to fold for the longest time possible, therefore I turn off my PC when I'm in bed and it's not easy via LogMeIn
I think I'm sold, just need to gather up some funds for an M8 & that

From the documentation, since the Aquaero will be hooked up via USB to the motherboard, the remote control can even be used while in the bios as it would be detected as a HID compliant keyboard device. Apparently the Aquaero will have several hardware profiles in the Windows Hardware manager as it was developed with HID specifications, so a Keyboard, Mouse, etc.

It CAN power the PC up or down, can be used as a keyboard/mouse (nice from a couch or bed!), control the Aquaero, etc.

As for the remote is it really that necessary? The product sheet mentions a software that helps you configuring it. I don't know what else I'd use the remote for.
As it was mentioned they are pretty the same. When i opened the LX i recognized the PCM has places for the other variant buttons (as you said) so i assume they are 100% equivalent on that side

On the HeatSprider i RECCOMEND IT 100% as the unit is pretty an oven and it gets very close to 80 Celsius when driving fans...

The Remote is more fot HTPC application (yes it passes keys to the PC via USB) rather than operationg the A5...or if you wanna power on off the PC via remote

cheers

Yes, someday within the next week. We still need the configuration pages for the controllers, a setup routine and the firmware update process needs some further testing to make sure it will work correctly for everyone.

Our programmer and me will be also in the office tomorrow to get things forward.

Word of caution to anyone buying a tubemeter, you're gonna have to find a G 1/8 female to G 1/4 male fitting to make it fit pretty much any reservoir out there. I didn't know it was G 1/8 so now I'm having to make a separate order for a fitting. Wohoo 8 dollars shipping on a single fitting!

What a pain in the ass.
