1. Refuse delivery if the driver at your doorstep says there are customs fees due. State that you will clear the package yourself unless the "brokerage fee" is waived.
2. Take any documentation the driver leaves with you, and bring a shipping confirmation or a manifest if you got one from the seller, and go to the local UPS depot where they're holding your package.
3. State that you're there to clear the package yourself through Customs. They'll make you wait while they "prepare the paperwork", so bring a book to read while you wait for the person at the depot to print off what's needed.
4. Go over to Canada Customs and show them all the paperwork, and indicate that you are clearing a package that's coming via UPS. Pay the usual GST and PST.
5. Take all the stuff back with you (including any clearances from Customs) to UPS and pick up your package!

These step by step procedures are too complicated
If it happens to be, I'll simply refuse the package and go to another store who has USPS shipping method

Why am I paying $43 to have $20 worth of products shipped from New York, which is 1.5 hours away????

memoryexpress.com for me in Canada. I have 3 local stores in Calgary and their prices are on track with others. They have others across Canada and ship at decent rates. It's a big deal for me since I'm from the states now living in Calgary. I had nothing like this available to me in the midwest. Gotta love some of the perks of living in a big city.

Memory express doesn't carry much water cooling. Nothing I would ever buy.

So I should spend $50 on gas so I don't pay $43 for shipping??? What the hell bro?!

Us Canadians are really screwed when it comes to shipping, prices, selection, and overall product availability. And it's not like we live near the arctic circle or anything, many of us live in Toronto!

Seems like you can walk into almost any store in the states and buy whatever you like. It's a struggle to find what we want in Canada.
