590 Gtx + 2600k & a Sileo 500. How to get wet!

Thread Starter
Hi to all this is my first post in here, I'm looking for a solution to keep all cold but more than all quiet, to do so I need to put under water the 590 gtx but I don't know how to start. The only thing shure is that I've to place the radiator outside the case. There are spacers to do it? I would to install it on the top, is a good idea?

I've looked for:
EK-FC590 GTX - Acetal+Nickel
EK-Supreme HF - Full Nickel
EK-CoolStream RAD XT (360)
Tubo PUR Trasparente 10/8mm
aqua computer Aquabox Professional 5.25" - black
NZXT Sentry LXE external Touch-Screen Fan-Controller

Do you think could go? Fans over the radiator will be the Noctua's I've hon inside the case 120mm x3.

One 360 is fine, although I would recommend either the SR-1 360 or the XSPC RX 360

Yes for shure there's enought power in stock mode no need to OC at all. So do you think a bigger rad would be needed?
And what about the pump? Is a Laing DDC-1T/Plus - 12 Volt good?
And last but not least, shoud i cool first the gpu or the cpu? Should I use a Y connection and do a 1-2-1?

Loop order does not matter so go with whatever makes your tubing the easiest to route.

The RX 360 or SR1 360 are both better rads than the EK one so I would personally recommend those (for low to mid speed fans).

I'd get a 480 to go sure. A 360 is gonna keep the temperatures on the high side, while the 480 will be much cooler... And more silent aswell

A RX360 will do the trick, but still not beat an EK 480. And they cost about the same, so if you can fit it, go with it.

Except that the heat dump is not equivalent to 2 580s...so saying that a 480 is necessary is simply not true. A good 360 is enough for his needs, a 480 would not give him any better overclocking ability, which does not even matter in this case since he does not plan to overclock. He wants silence, not zomgtemps, which means the 360 is enough.

whats the point of watercooling if you will see high temperatures after the system is watercooled. the gtx 590 has 2 gf 110's, even if the heat output isnt as much as a single gf110, itll still act as two cards because you have more voltage regulators and ram blocks to cool off...

honestly go with a 480, i had my 5970 and my 920 overclocked with a 480 with great results.

From skinnees.

With 1500rpm fans a 360 radiator can dissipate 500W which will be about his power consumption at FULL load. Saying that a 10c delta is bad is just silly as it is very good and many times better than air. He is looking for silence and telling him that he needs a 480 is not true.

I'm not saying he can't get the 480, I'm saying that a 360 will give him what he is looking for. Obviously a 480 is going to do a better job, but don't tell him he HAS to have one.

I mean, I know more than enough about overkill, I'm using a 360 and a 240 to cool down a gtx460 and a 930 (working on selling the 460, need to get to 35 rep before I can sell on this site, however). I just want to make sure that the OP understands his options.

Exactly Kinru has hit the point I do not need to Overclock, I just need more silence. Now I'm looking for prices and availability of the RX360. But I'm still not shure where to place it. Of course outside the case but better obove, behind or under? Fresh air goes to the ground, but dust too... I need fan to turn at 900/1000 rpm and max 1500 rpm when in full load. Temperature should be between 40° and 80°.
