These are washers and kaps from Nils (MDPC) M3

IMG_0735.JPG

those are very nice to hide skrews heads and get clean cable management

washer variant for 6-32 skrews (cap goes on as well)

for connecting to the MB headerd we will use the below connector that on the GB-P67A-UD7 has 20P with its pins as well

IMG_0753.JPG

the Header will be connected to the vandal switch which are at the front panel of the Little:devil-smi

IMG_0754.JPG

we need some crimping work to take place

IMG_0748.JPG

IMG_0750.JPG

finally we connect the pins in the right places (HD activity, Reset, Power and Power LED)

IMG_0759.JPG

i prefer this single connector vs. single headers cse this way they plug at once easily and don't go around....

now before some more serious work comes into the pipeline let's have a look to the angled fittings

I piked two variants that you'll se in a sec
- on the right side 45deg angle
- at the left the dual 45deg angle

The former is better (while a bit real estate is needed) than a real 90deg cse it is smoother turn, wider ID and it is gentle with the high flow (the 90deg is a sharp bend instead)

IMG_0721.JPG

if u crazy enought eek.gif u can build mazes with the dual 45 in series

IMG_0730.JPG

but you'll say so what headscratch.gif

IMG_0733.JPG

follow up and u'll see...those came handy in the pump/rad bottom compartment i had to redo most of my planned work (it looked so simple on paper but when it came to do mmm...cool.gif)

So before any work can take place i had to flush the test system (mind i had only CPU in the look so far for testing and no rads at bottom)

For this the Quick Disconnect i placed at bottom will now come into play

IMG_0736.JPG

let's...well...disconnect it (quick) tongue.gif

IMG_0739.JPG

that's all the water you will ever see come out of it when unplugged...not bad no ? biggrin.gif

now take a spare mate set for draining

IMG_0740.JPG

with a piece of hoose attached indeed and put hooses into a can (make sure u know all the water u put into will fit into it, right ?!

IMG_0741.JPG

connect the spare mate set to the original QD that were in the loop (that we disconnected before)

IMG_0742.JPG

...and the water will gently flow from the loop into the can
To make this even faster you can let air come in e.g. from the top of you reservoir of through open fill port...u know water out air in...to avoid negative pressure

here it comes

IMG_0743.JPG

IMG_0745.JPG

..all gone (2 min in total 4 the operation) smil3dbd4e4c2e742.gif

i took chance of the system beeing dry to clean up the top rad fans cables and sleeve them...i left them stock so far but i decided to sleeve them even if those are hidden...purist u know...

IMG_0764.JPG

cut fan wires, crimp some pins, sleeve the cables...ok done

IMG_0768.JPG

looks better now biggrin.gif

also i changed one of thefitting to 45 angled cse it was better for the CPU to link to it

as i was mentioning before (on the angled fitting post) i had to modify my plans for the ground floor as the RAD woundn't fit as easily as though with the pump sitting were i originally though to put it

IMG_0778.JPG

i tried all possible orientations and options but no way...something need to chenged

so i came up with a slightly different pump install and used my dual 45def fittings...see next

so idea come to rotate the wooden brick 90 deg and mount the pumps flat..all the group got rotated 90 deg infact
i also had to mount it very close to the floor of the case to get max gap on top

IMG_0783.JPG

and went all way close to fan as i could (man i left 1mm...biggrin.gif)

IMG_0779.JPG

bottom gap is good

IMG_0821.JPG

and here are the dual 45deg fitting instlled on the pump station (while u still see a 45deg at the other side i used dual also there at end of day (but later than i took the pic)

IMG_0780.JPG

here u can see the new position of the dual pump group

IMG_0784.JPG

and now connection to the rad is just straight ahead...piece of cake biggrin.gif

IMG_0785.JPG

IMG_0786.JPG

little piece of tygoon hose and here we go

IMG_0788.JPG

IMG_0789.JPG

IMG_0790.JPG

...one more to go

the other RAD is mounted in opposing direction (so fittings don't intherfere each other)

The first is like this

IMG_0794.JPG

the second one gets fittings too (use dual 45 here)

IMG_0795.JPG

IMG_0796.JPG

IMG_0799.JPG

it lines up well with the flowmeter which is its next hop

IMG_0800.JPG

and it will take water from the two GPUs; this is the last RAD of the loop before the reservoir

Loop is like this

RES - PUMP - RAD1 - CPU - RAD2 - GPU (2x) RAD3 - FLOWMETER - RES

each one got its rad...so all are happy no one complains..biggrin.gif:D

now let's see the GPU connection

IMG_0797.JPG

cheers.gif

IMG_0801.JPG

IMG_0798.JPG

as u see water comes from GPU and leaves to the flowmeter

IMG_0817.JPG

again back to the other RAD connected to pump

IMG_0818.JPG

IMG_0819.JPG

the other side...water to the pump inlet and the pipe that goes to CPU

IMG_0802.JPG

ok see from a bit far how it looks like...

Looks sick with those red led's in there! Good job on the hose routing since it can get pretty crazy with that many rad and blocks in one rig.
