The shell and plug on the Titans are metal as well, I was worried about the strain relief on the buds but I've had no issue with it. Plus it has an in-line volume control that's metal as well

I actually use my M6 more for working out, biking and jogging and the M9 for sitting down and listening to bassy music.

M6 have those goofy over ear things, so yeah, if you are jogging they might be good. But like I said, they are uncomfortable for me, ymmv. I never use mine.

I even sold my re0s because I always found myself using the m9s over them. Very good sound quality, and cheap (not in build quality, just price) so even if they do break it is no biggie.

I would recommend getting a set of tri flanges if you go for the m9s and they don't come with them. Only good thing about buying my m6s, as they came with 3 sets.

And marshmallows are ok, but m9s are cheaper and better. Really, you can't go wrong with them.

Let me know what you guys recommend!
OMG same here i was and think i still am under warranty called up the RMA dept, and basically told me to get ****ed because i don't have the paper receipt from micro center after a year and half later. They were back beat pluses.

EDIT: I liked the extra bass, I'm willing to spend a little more on a decent set any suggestion i saw the m6 and the m9 any other suggestions? Sennheiser? Sony? JVC? Bose? Also i listen to just about EVERY THING.

I personally hated earbuds and didnt like skullcandy until my GF had my try a pair of their Ink'd earbuds. I love their sound quality, noticable differance over sony brand earbuds. Sound reproduction was close to that of my over the ear gaming headset (without the surround effect). I love my skullcandy for travel, I would recommend them.

It comes down to personal taste. If you can, try out a few different sets and see which ones sound better to you. Its not always about sound though, sometimes a pair can sound great but the fit absolutely blows (one of the biggest reason I hated earbuds).

I would try fixing it before purchasing a new earphone.

A few months ago, I had my $100 dollar headphone dying on me, I can only hear from one side and the mic always static. I was ready to purchase another headphone for $100 on amazon but stumble across a youtube video. The video explains how to fix headphones and which connector is needed etc... Went to radio shack and spent $8 total for two connectors. Review the video a few time and I started connecting the headphone and wallah it work like brand new. Saved $92 and the feeling of satisfaction was priceless

I can feel the cable broken in the sleeving right where it goes into the left earbud. Don't think it can be fixed
