I already posted this in the hardware review section but I wanted to post it here so more people could see. Enjoy.

So I just finished Bulletstorm on normal difficulty. I started playing it early morning yesterday and played almost all day yesterday but never finished it until today. I thought that the game was very good considering it is a different type of game other than being a fps. The graphics were extremely good considering I don't play in 1080p.

-Graphics-
The graphics were quite nice and was very colorful. This game was definitely not one of those games with bland color schemes and "ok" graphics. I was pretty impressed on how the graphics looked. The graphics remind me a little of "Vanquish" (PS3 & Xbox 360) because in both games, if you look out into the distance or anywhere in the sky there is incredible detailed buildings, waterfalls, and just landscape in general. The graphics also remind me a little of Borderlands, only a tiny bit though. I think that if I were to play this is 1080p, I think that the graphics would be utterly amazing.(I play in a 1600x900 resolution) Overall I give the graphics a 10/10.

-Sound Effects/Voices/Music-
What can I say, the sound was incredibly good. The sound effects were very satisfying. The guns sounded like actual guns and they sounded like they were supposed to. What I mean by that is that the assault rifle sounded like an assault rifle and the shotgun sounded like a shotgun. When cars exploded and buildings fell, they sounded great. Not cheesy like other games I have played. The music went perfect with the game also. When you are in battles, a good rock tune plays that definitely makes the scene. Nothing too heavy rock though... nothing like "Splatterhouse". The voices/voice overs were probably one of the best, if not the best I've heard. The characters had great personality including General Serrano who uses vulgar language quite often but uses it in a very funny way. IE: He likes to call Gray (main character) a lot of names that include vulgar words. Its actually quite funny and I did laugh a few times at the name calling in the game. Even the sounds/voices for the monsters were quite nice and I enjoyed the sounds of this game. I give the sounds a 10/10.

-Controls-
The controls were pretty simple using not too many keys. Not much to say here other than the controls were easy and wont be hard for anyone.

-Gameplay-
Now for the gameplay... This game was great. It took me a little while to beat it, not too long though granted I played almost non-stop for a day... but it was great. A couple of times I thought the game was going to end but it kept going on, which is good because I like long games, as long as it isn't a long boring stretch to the end but this game was definitely not one of those games. It kept me on my toes throughout the whole time I was playing it. The story was pretty good also, a classic revenge story. What happened is you and a couple other guys work for a guy name General Serrano and he has you going around killing all these people lying to you saying that they are rapists and murderers SPOILER!!!!!! when really they are just reporters and people that are trying to catch Serrano and you and you find out that Serrano has been using you to kill innocent people. END SPOILER!!!!!! There was two things that I did not like about the gameplay, and those were that the fact that it did take a little bit to kill an enemy, especially at the end... and that there weren't a whole lot of upgrades for the guns. The variety of guns was alright including an carbine/assault rifle, flailgun, turret gun, bouncer cannon, shotgun and a pistol. I liked the type of style the game was, when you kill an enemy you get these points that you use to buy ammo and some upgrades for your weapons. I thought it was neat, the way that when you do certain special moves, (ex. Pull an enemy towards you, then kick him, then shoot him in the head) you get bonus points and they pop up on the screen in nice bubbly letters. Ammo scarcity was not a problem at all, I only found myself without ammo once and that was right at the very very end of a chapter, which by then, it didn't even matter. This game was very fun and addictive but once you beat it there isn't really anything else to do except echoes which is pretty much like a time trial. There is multiplayer, but I did not try it. I heard that the multiplayer was similar to COD's Nazi Zombies? I don't know how accurate that is. Overall the game is very fun for how long it lasted. I give it a 9/10 because I feel that they could have added more. Maybe they will in DLC, but we will see. I definitely recommend getting this game and playing it as I did because I had a great time playing it. I also think that I could play this game a few times because I do like it a lot, but some of you might not be able to do that.

Overall I rate this game a 9/10 because of a few flaws but in total, it was a GREAT game and I recommend getting this.
