It's currently @ 1.300V.

Is it causing you problems?

In short, it may and it may not at the same time. Not all hardware is created equal, even if it is the same make.

Not anymore. I should have update the thread title. I am now stable 24 hours with my new board.

@g_sadamoto you'd be able to take those settings I have and use them as a base to get yourself going. Obviously you will need to do some adjustments. I took the NB settings (not posted here yet) from someone else in the CHV thread and had to adjust some voltages but now I'm 24hr prime stable.

Thank you B-Roll for the excellent thread!

I'm a newbie to OC'ing and was able to reach 4.0 GHz on my GA-990XA-UD3 using your settings. The only difference is that I kept my NB Voltage Control set to "normal." I'm 2 hours into P95 (blend) and everything is stable. My only concern is the CPU temp, which runs between 52*-55*C. My HS/F is a Cooler Master 212 Evo using Arctic Silver 5. I wish there was a way to cool this processor down below 50*C but from what I've read the 1100T's tend to run a little hot.

I just built this system, most it is brand new, and some pieces are from my previous system like the PCI X-Fi card and a Physx secondary card. Getting anoth evga 560 ti soc ds and will be running 2-way sli w/ 3rd dedicated physx card (9600gt).

Now I bought 16G's of the Mushkin Enhanced Radioactive DDR3 1600 PC3 12800. Right now I only have one set of 2x4G installed, the other kit is on order and will be here soon.

With the DD3 1600 (7-9-8-24 1.65V), I should have plenty of overhead room to push my system up past factory defaults... using Asus Sabertooth 990fx motherboard.

I bought a AMD Phenom II x6 1100T with a Consair H100 and is running nice and cool at factory defaults.

Anyone have a similar build and want to advise me on where to start or share some of your settings with me??

Any information would be mostly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi mate I was wondering if you could help me. I have the same cpu as you but with an asus m5a78l Mobo and an evo labs 700 w power supply along with 7 gigs of ram and a Hd 6770. I also have a cit mars blue gaming case and an arctic cooling freezer 7 pro cooler. You say your max temps are 43c well mine are at 52c after playing StarWars the old republic all night and I dont know why, they were the same with the stock cooler.
Why are yours 10c lower than mine? What cooler are you using? Co's at the time you mentioned those temps you said you hadn't started using water cooling yet. I want to overclock my 1100t and have before but stopped co's of my high temps any advice on what you do to get such low temps compared to mine would be great. As I said mine were that high with the stoick cooler as well and it is all brand new kit about 4 months ago. Also with your overclock do you notice any better performance while playing BC2 co's I play BF3 and didn't really notice much difference when I put mine at 3.6 - 3.7 GHz I didnt wanna go higher or even run it OC'd cos of my apparent crazy stock temps please help if you can.

thanks

you seem to know what you are doing. My 1100t on a arctic cooler freezer 7 pro and 7 gigs of ram, an asus m5a78l mobo and a radeon 6770. oh and a evo labs 700 watt PSU. It gets up to 52c daily just playing Star Wars the old republic all night is this normal for stock speed it alsop reached these temps with the stock fan as well frown.gif I really wanna OC my 1100t but daren't with these temps although I have but never for long co's in prime it would shoot up past 60c and I'd have to shut it down quick. any advice and help would be great and well appreciated
Thanks
