All what you have to do(touch) is raise your CPU voltage, little by little 'til stable.
My bios doesn't do half steps for some reason :[ I'd have to do 17

I'll try it and report back. My new GPU (6970) came in today so I'll be messing with that also. Haha.

Missed the P95 run sorry, would still run IBT though.

I wish that board had .5 steps too, presumed that it would have for the price of it so didn't look into it, wish I had now. 4.1 is possible but I leave it at 4.0 so I don't have to downclock my RAM. Oh well.

I started buying water cooling parts today. Hopefully by the end of next week it'll be all done and I will continue to go higher with this experiment.

Unforunately it's too hot in my room during the summer to OC mine. Atleast I tried @ 3.7 and it would get too hot, too quick. My tuniq could be partly to blame.

55C is the highest temp that should be reached, right?
I tried my 1090T at 3.8Ghz/2800Mhz NB,Prime95 got it up to 52C.

Me too! Hi!

I wonder if you could post a summary of where you are now with your OC'ing?

I'm about to do the same with a 1100T on a ASUS Crosshair Formula IV and a Gelid Tranquillo heatsink & fan.

Thanks.

Steve

I've been running stable at 4ghz for a while now. Same settings. Everythings been fine. Got my first bsod last night. It said dumping physical memory to disk. Now I didn't have time to do a ton of looking into it but this happened a day after I used drive sweeper, installed older gpu drivers, decided i should keep the newer ones, ran drive sweeper again and reinstalled my gpu drivers. My limited research found that this particular error is related to driver issues. Truth? Im not sure. Maybe someone here has an idea.

Well since my last post I reinstalled Windows, got all the updates, got the newest drivers and have been running fine. I think it was just a fluke with my drivers.

Just got my water pump and fan controller today. Hoping by the end of next week to be under water. We shall see.
