PII 1100T need help overclocking - Page 2

If it works try lowering a bit, but you also need to bump the CPU/NB frequency up and will have to take the voltage for that off Auto 2600 frequency you will need around 1.35V

Its a good Idea to test your limits individually on each thing to give you an idea where they are, I will see if I can find the link to that...

This is one http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...um,2366-8.html

Another http://www.techreaction.net/2009/05/...ng-essentials/

And a very good one which deals with testesting the limits first under the bit "finding your maximun values" http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=267708

ok i set voltage to 1.4625V and it booted up and my pc is runing at 73F. I'm not sure what i should set my NB to as this is my first OC. When i used Turbo V i used 1.27.... should i start there?

1.50V is a little bit high for 4GHz. My watercooled 1090 needs 1.35V(at full load), and my aircooled 1090 needs 1.40-1.41V(at full load).

Do you have the "Manual" option for CPU Over Voltage? ... or using the + and - keys changed your voltage from "Auto"

Set your RAM speed , timings and voltage(especially) manually. some mobos undervolt the RAM if you keep it Auto
Also, you have to enable " Load Line Calibration"

I will have to leave you with the guides I posted as I havent had a Hexcore CPU yet and OC them is a bit different to my 955, good luck
