I've bought flac from http://www.digital-tunes.net before and can confirm that the file I downloaded is indeed a lossless file. If you want a whole album, however, it's likely cheaper to buy the CD and rip it yourself.

And whether you can tell the difference between lossless or 320, some people would prefer lossless because youre getting the whole unaltered product. Nothing wrong with that. There are certain albums that I really enjoy and I would not settle having it in mp3 format; I prefer a CD and/or flac.
