i've owned most of theses brands, but i think sapphire has won me over. sapphire is of the best priced most of the time and give you alot of extras compared to most. the 6950 is best bang for buck card, but i love my crossfire 6870's.

71C isn't hot for todays graphics cards....that's not even close to being hot. All of them are great except XFX in my opinion.

MSI - If you're looking for a lightning or hawk series card. They are great quality cards and great for those trying to overclock their card as high as possible

Gigabyte - Reliable and generally out of the 5 have lowest price on cards from what I've seen lately. Their SoC version cards are also pretty good.

Asus - Good cards, a great warranty, and their non reference cards are great in my opinion. Their CUII cards have great cooling and even though they are 3 slot, unless you plan on crossfire or have a small case, it shouldn't have a space problem.

Sapphire - Out of them, probably the favorite amongst everyone and for good reason. Their cards are top notch, their warranty and customer support are top notch as well (atleast it was for me).

I have a Sapphire 4850 and I know some with a Sapphire 5850 and I haven't heard of them ever having any major problems. I would buy another Sapphire card.
