THanks!
No need to qualify for bonuses on your own passkey; the passkey provided already has bonuses.

Native linux may increase your PPD, its up to you if that 1k PPD (guessing) is worth it.
Native Linux gives a fair PPD boost... more than 1k, but how much depends on each system.

So we don't get bonus under our own username? We have to re-configure clients to use OCNchimpin?

Correct; the point of it is to Fold under a team name for the event.

I was just SMP folding for the last few days on native Linux and there was a definite PPD increase (I was pulling 11-13k PPD as opposed to 7-10k on Windows), I don't know how much of an increase -bigadv would see
there will be a huge increase going from windows client to linux client, even using VM

for example..

4.8ghz 2600k w7 client = 48-50k ppd , linux client = 58-60k ppd

5ghz 2500k w7 client = 34-36k ppd, linux client = 44k-46k ppd

etc

I knew I've heard that before... I'm thinking that is indeed true because I am seeing increased PPD folding SMP on an Ubuntu VM right now.

Your doing bigadv, way different.
For SMP its way smaller increase. >.<

Your using resources to run the VM then your using resources to run the clients.
If you go native your increase will actually be significant, also when you get your 2600k go bigadv either on linux or windows.
