On a serious note, is the new client better for ppd for fermi/older cards? I have a GTS450 and 8800ultras that would like to know.

Also If i read it right the new client supports SMP and GPU all in one client now too?

Last but not least, will a corsair HX520 support a 8800 ultra, gts450 and amd 945 all folding at once? Stock clocks minus the gts450 slightly oc'ed.

New client is the same for PPD it is just all in one client.

Now for ATI 5xxx/6xxx you will get the beta core 16 units which give better performance/PPD than the old client/core.
Since you do not have ATI it doesn't matter for you.

Would you recommend upgrading to the new client then? I don't know if I want to break what's already working haha

I haven't done SMP for a while, but it may be easier to do it all under one..

Follow the v7 CPU guide in my signature, and you can keep the GPUs on the old client if you want.

A 520w is pushing the limit. A 8800 ultra maxes at 185 w and a gts 450 tdp is 108w and the cpu is a 125 watt. Just the gts alone recommends a 400 w power supply.

So, for them to work efficiently I would say no.

Ya that would be a bit close or overboard. I should be able to find another way to get them folding.

Client v7 does have quite a few bugs right now... if you're not willing to report problems, and just want a simple, smooth Folding experience, stick with v6 for now.
