i7-2600k TMonitor Irregularity

Thread Starter
I have my i7-2600k running at 4.8GHz 24/7. While it's prime95 stable, I noticed while running TMonitor, I get a brief dip in frequency every 2 to 3 seconds. Meanwhile, CPU-Z shows 4.8GHz with no fluctuation whatsoever. Should I be concerned, or is this normal? Also while idle, TMonitor shows my CPU at 1.6GHz while CPU-Z continues to show it at 4.8GHz.

While running Prime95:

While idle:

The dip every few seconds is a bug, and it has been there since Tmonitor was introduced.

Also Tmonitor doesn't report the cpu frequency. It reports load x frequency with lower limit set at lowest multi. So if your load is zero it will report lowest multi x bclk. Tmonitor used to set low end at zero, but people had issues with cpu mhz being reported at zero. And if your load is 100%, then Tmonitor will report 1 x mhz or what cpuz reports. If your load is less than 100%, it will report corresponding fraction.

How did you get Tmonitor to work, anyway?
I ran it and it said "This CPU is not supported." The version on the CPUID page (tmonitor 1.03...)
