should i keep bothering newegg? or try msi. im moving on april 30th, so i need the card back by the 29th.
I would try to RMA it. If you can't or don't want to you could try super gluing it back on if you still have the fan blade.

Just get glue that is rated for plastic and it should be able to fit in place where it broke. I did this with my large fan on my Antec 900 after I put my finger where it wasn't suppose to be while it was spinning. To this day it looks like new, except for the failing fan motor.

why is the fan motor failing? and i recall MSI never sends just the fans for the twin frozr, but wouldnt putting it on void my warranty if they did?

and yeah i got the fan blade out of my power supply.

ugh, im trying to get newegg to advance do it.. the box did have a dent and a slip wrip in the boxes flap near the dent.

so sad

*We will process the claim as a refund after it is submitted. You do not need to return the damaged VGA card back to us now. If we need to pick back the VGA card for further checking, we will inform you via an email.*
since when do they do that lol

and she told me this...
"You do not need to return the item back to us. You should keep the card and shipping box for one month. If UPS need to pick it back to us, you will be notified by a confirmation email shortly."

are they trying to get me to void my own warranty?? lol

there telling me i can keep the video card, and that they will fully refund me aswell...wth? newegg chat is on pot or something???

No, newegg itself does not want the card back they said, basically if UPS wants, UPS can take the card and box, but other then that if UPS gets it they just need it to make sure the shipping box was damaged... lol

the guy on newegg said that theres a good chance i can keep the card and do whatever i want with it and get the refund from the claim if i get a refund, if not, i guess i run the card with 1 missing fin, or try to glue it back on..but i'd suck at glueing it back on. or i wait till May and see if MSI will rma, though they seemed very pissy when i asked

well one guys thoughts at MSI, was that since the shipping box has a dent in it, that they might have dropped it or something and that it causes a crack in 1 of the fan fins
and lol i just realized that the guy on newegg i called said theres a 100% chance ill get my refund because the shipping box is damaged

btw this has happened before

i recieved a cracked Lian li K62, and they just sent me a refund and no one ever asked for the cracked case back, so i bought a new k62 and fixed the old one and sold it for like 50$ lol

AT ANY RATE, is it okay for me to run the card the way it is? its oc'd to 900/1325 and im still only seeing 64c temps in furmark. is it okay to run it with the 1 fan missing a fin until i get my refund or have to return it? also if i dont get a refund will MSI rma it? and if they wont, can i just deal with it or try to glue it back on?

You never know, some fan blades can be brittle. I hate to go off topic, but I hear some of Silverstone's Air Penetrator fans are brittle and can break with little force as well, I actually got 2 AP-121 fans but they are in working shape and are fine. Going off topic just a week ago I was doing some spring cleaning and cleaning off a heavy layer of dust on a standard desk fan, removed the grating, was gonna unscrew the cap to pull the blades off and SNAP 2 of the 3 large blades just broke off with barely any force whatsoever, I mean a toothpick had better resiliency than those fan blades .

To Op, have you mailed MSI stating that one of the blades on that card broke off? I apologize for not reading this thread in full. I'm curious to know what's their RMA on policy on this.
