Since we're talking about VRAM, anyone know how much Civilization 5 would need for 1680x1050?

I'm assuming it should hit 1 jiggahertz core clock[and maybe more] easily without touching the voltage.

I'll await reviews, because if this thing turns out to be a good OC'er, having them configured in SLI @ 1080p resolution would probably be a very very strong performer for years to come.
It's guaranteed I'm buying one 560 Ti Hawk TF3 on Thursday *tax return direct deposit*, will prob take about 3-4 business days to reach me, but I'll do a review of some kind, but I expect there's a rush of people on this forums that were about to upgrade that now will get the card so we'll get all kinds of reviews, regular ones, OC ones, ect.

Though, having said that I might disappear into Portal 2 when I get the card because I just might wait to play it on the new card.

That's exactly my plan too, sometime right before the release of Skyrim.

I'm going to be picking this up with my upgrade to SB, I might SLI later on, but I think VRAM will be the limiting factor before GPU horsepower.

1680x1050 will be fine with 1gb vram. I max out my gtx 460 vram when running crysis at 1080p with HD texture mods. So unless you are doing the same then you should be fine.

Been holdning out for this card aswell, but the prices really aint there here in Norway.

Currently the Twin Frozr II is at 340 and the HAWK at 410.

Is the HAWK really worth the extra 70 bucks?

Offnote:

Asus 6950 2gb at 390
MSI 6950 2gb at 480

Prices really are great here in Norway.. haha

The HAWK's and even Twin Frozr's are very good cards. Worth the extra money in my opinion. Run cooler and quieter. The quality on these are military grade components. Highly over clockable.

I had an AMD 6870 TFII I hit 1Ghz air cooled on and ran it stable. Definitely worth it. MSI GTX 560ti card is sweet and the HAWK's have always raised the bar on non-reference cards.

The card's qaulity is going to out last your desire to keep it eventually when your finally ready to upgrade way down the road. If you SLI it you'll have that much longer.
