Computer won't start please help.

Thread Starter
So I went to bed last night after watching tv on it. I accidentally clicked the sleep button on the remote so pc went to sleep. Mum came in and turned it off from power.
Now when I try to start it up it doesn't boot up. All the components work but nothing comes out on monitor. However, I do get multiple LEDs light up on my board that I never seen. I looked up what they mean in the manual but no help I dont understand. My board is gigabyte. X58a ud3r. Please help

Do you mean the clr cmos button? I'm not sure if there's any custom setting in my bios since I got it made for me.

You have to do it manually. It's on your motherboard. A little "switch".

Um I didn't click it but decided to give it one last chance and it booted up. Is there any way I can prevent this in the future?

Did you mom turn off the PC on the wall while the PC was "asleep" ? If so, that may have cause the malfunction.

I can't think of anything else, really.

I once accidentally plugged out my power cord from my PSU while my PC was turned on. It completely reset my BIOS, and I had to change everything back to my usual settings.

Anyway, glad the issue was solved.
