Odd - tell that to the 10+ reviews I read that all placed it a 9/10. I'm smelling a bit of bandwagon, or perhaps envy. Not sure i don't make it a habit to mingle with either.

Course conspiracy theorists would all lead you to believe that the reviewers including the great JG himself were all paid off by evga. Meh. I think we're done here.

Ps it's running like a champ and I'm loving the cables. Seems to work fine to me.

As far as I can tell, no one had said reviewers like JG is getting paid off of these reviews to have a good rating or whatever you are saying. Based on the reviews that you had bought up, the NEX1500 indeed was quite a disappointment.

8.4/10 http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story7&reid=311
[H]ardOCP also had failed it in accordance to their standards as well.

Wolf did not rated it as a 9/10 or above. Even those who frequent at JG considered it to be rather mediocre. Except for this guy who won the NEX1500 and talking about the value of the cables. http://www.jonnyguru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9429

Seeing how you have made post a few times about the scores, it is quite silly to based how good a PSU is just by looking at the score that it had achieved. The actual reviewer, segment that the PSU itself is cater to, and as well as the time of the review was made can all have an affect on the final scoring. Since they took the liberty to write up a 5+ pages review, at the very least read the entire thing and understand it.

Anyways, if you are one of those who feel the warranty and the sleeving justified the high price tag, by all means, keep it especially if you have to pay a restocking fee if you were to returned it.

Also, the 80+ certification does not tell you how good a PSU is, as you noted on the other post.

Just like what others said, read the whole review.
