Hey, all I got my fans mounted now but the 4 pin on the TY-140 isn't long enough to reach the sys_fan outlet on the motherboard without me lying it almost flat against the mobo and then I have to install my graphics card over the top.

Would it be fine as is, or can I switch the cpu fan to the sys_fan slot and put the TY-140 in the cpu_fan slot?

You can, of course, simply plug the fan into an adapter and plug the adapter into Molex from your PSU.

I was afraid of that, alls I have right now is a 3pin adapter. I will have to pick up a 4pin molex adapter somewhere before I can use the TY-140.

Just have to go without it for now as the cable does not reach in the exhaust position.

Thanks for the info!

Edit: I'm dumb and totally misunderstood the adapter. trying it out. double

Hey, just wanted to say that the new fans dropped my CPU temp by ~4C vs the old Antec twocool and no side intake.

I figured the TY-140 would be good, but the SlipStream is just as great for the price.

My rig hits 53C now under full load, which doesn't seem too bad considering my mediocre Arctic Cooler 7. Kind of want to replace it with something that blows through mosfet sink.

Thanks again, zip-tie screws ftw on this mod!
