Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
One big thing I would change would be the power supply.
Quote:
GX 650W - 750W:
The GX series is marketed by CoolerMaster toward gamers as a budget PSU. The naming scheme is reminiscent of Corsair's "*X" nomenclature. Don't be fooled. Only the 750W model has been tested; it was found that the +3.3V ripple goes out of spec at 450W load, and the +12V goes out of spec at 550W. If you've read my articles you know that excessive ripple hinders overclocking and can damage components. Thus this is no more than a 450W power supply in real use. The 750W's current price at Newegg is $80. Seeing as how you can get a Corsair VX450 for $65 or a SeaSonic S12II Bronze 430W for $66, that gives this Seventeam-built CoolerMaster product a null value.

This will do the job well.
seasonic m12II 520w $79

or if you like high wattage psu's like others,
tx650 v2 $99

hx650 $119

I overlooked the part saying you already bought some stuff. :|

@ choLOL

Agreed, that GX is not a good buy at all.

Either the TX650W V2 or an Antec TruePower New 650W would do the job easily with room to go SLI if you ever desire.

Everything looks real good, except for the PSU like everyone else has stated.

I'd go with a TX650 v2.

i picked that PSU because it was part of a bundle deal... PSU+case for 120 after rebates
just chatted with newegg and they canceled the ram/psu/case

im tryin to stay around $120 for case+psu, so if u guys can recommend a lower cost psu than the ones "choLOL" recommended it would be great... if not then i gotta get a cheaper case or cough up the money for the PSU
i will not be running SLI/xfire... just regular OC thats all, so i dont think ill need a high wattage psu

and i think im gonna go with this ram this time

$120 for the case AND the PSU?! The only way that is going to happen is to get a cheapo combo, and there aren't any ones that I would say get ATM.

Why so low for these two pieces? I wouldn't cheap out of these, but that's just me. The case and the PSU are some of the most important parts of the PC, considering cooling and the ability to even turn on the PC in the first place.

Change the Power Supply for an Antec TruePower New 650W. It's much better than the one you selected and also a bit better than the Corsair TX-650 V2.

EDIT: if you want to stay under $120, you're gonna have to sacrifice on the case. For that price the only thing decent is an HEC Blitz.

Thinking about it, if he isn't going to OC, he could go down to a 550W. Which would leave him for opportunity for a better case.

But then he wouldn't be able to SLI. If he doesn't want to SLI, he can get a cheaper motherboard, PSU, and a higher-end case.

Are you planning on adding another card, OP?
