OCZ ZX PSUs in a HAF X case

Thread Starter
I was thinking about grabbing one of those new OCZ ZX PSUs, but from what I've been reading, the cables on the PSU are extremely short, and some people have been having problems with the length in full size cases.

I was wondering if anyone here has one of these PSUs in the HAF X case, and if so, what are your experiences with it? Is what's said about the cable length true?

The HAF-X comes with a power extention for the CPU. I too found my PSU to be short in this case. This is what it comes with.

"8 Pin CPU Power Extention" (Comes with the HAF-X)

They are about 12cm long. I use one. No issues what so ever. Most OCN members use them for full towers. Buy one of these too, just in case.

"24 pin ATX Power Extention"

Hope this helps.

Okay, I'll go ahead and grab a few of those extensions (probably the sleeved ones) and see how things work out. Thanks for the help!
