I have a C2 Rev chip. Am I correct that these don't overclock as well as the C3 rev, or does that just have to do with the cores unlocking?

You should be fine with it. It'll probably top out at 3.7/3.8. 4Ghz was rare on these chips to begin with.

Also, I don't believe they ever made a C3 revision of this chip unless it's under a different name.

Aim for 3.6+ stable and you're good to go! It's a wonderful little triple core chip.

3,3 Ghz at stock voltage could work.Good cooler + more voltage = 3,5Ghz and up ,it depends on the chip.
My C2 revision chip is not to overclocking adicted and as i can t pump voltage due to board limitations i can t push it to more than 3,3Ghz.
Good luck with that nice CPU.

Every time I tried to unlock the 4th core I could never get it to post. All my attempts were unsuccessful. At least I think I did everything right, LOL.

I'll try adding volts and upping multi.

youre very lucky to get past 3.6
there a few good ones but from what ive seen, the 720 is a dog if it doesnt have a GOOD stable unlocked core.
mine unlocked can run 3.6 at 1.47v all day on a 32bit win7. as soon as i boot to 64bit, no go past 3.5 at 1.48v

ghettodaddy, 3.6 at stock voltages ? did you pass prime95 for more than 12hours ?

and i wish people would say auto volts instead of stock volts. there is such a variance on stock voltages for chips it means nothing.
