My friend is looking for a decent 600 dollar computer to play eve online and to play world of tanks.
Was thinking this combo comes with everything except a monitor, keyboard and mouse, and a graphics card.

It's certainly well under the budget and looks decent.
The GPU might be a bit too weak for EVE. For a little added more price, this will certainly boost performance.

By the way, i don't see a power supply with that bundle.

EDIT: I now see the res of that monitor. He will be fine with the GTS450, but a 460 is always better

It comes with a Rosewill 500W, which should be fine as long as he doesn't OC.

$32.96 discount on a DIY combo deal?
NEVER buy DIY combo deals. Configure the parts yourself, you will get a lower price than that crummy deal.

that video card should be plenty. FPS cap out at 65 regardless in Eve. Most lag is server side especially in large fleet fights with NC. Try to get a SSD for him, it does make a difference in load times on gate jumps. So if he is in a ceptor, Dram, sabre he will be able to catch most targets.

the funny part is. With my new setup (Sig Rig) vs my old AMD on with a HDD, I can get a sleip 15 jumps before a dram pilot can.
