Windows7 bluescreen, after that suddenly problems running games

Hi people,

So my gaming computer is a couple years old, and its always worked fine.

Today for the first time since I installed Win7 couple weeks back (before was Vista) I got a bluescreen while watching YouTube and after that I tried Mafia II and it keeps crashing to desktop.

One time when I started the game already in the menu the colors were going all crazy etc. and it crashes after like 5mins of playing. My novice level knowledge says this is a graphics card overheating / drivers issue, but since its not overheating according to catalyst center I'm doubting that. Also I played Mafia II and others for 2 weeks without problems.

Attached message Windows gave me when entering back after bluescreen.

Any ideas where to start for problem solving?

Check CPU/RAM/GPU for stability.
