how about a mountainmod pinnacle?

Not to big but it should fit perfectly, plus you have enough room to water cool it

The official board "size" is HPTX. I usually buy from newegg, but I guess I will have to look elsewhere. Thanks for the suggestions. I am checking them out right now. That aside, I am going to try my luck with the RX360 and see what happens

Performance PCs sells a converted a corsair 800D and 700D for the SR-2 but they are priced at $770 and $750 respectively. I would go with a mountain mods because you should be able to get something for around $400.

I don't think there are any non-monster cases for that mobo

Yes, your loop order is solid. I hear overclocking is quite the pain on that board, so that in mind hopefully you won't put too much heat into that cooling loop. I'd be concerned with the height of that motherboard as to whether you'll be able to put fans on the bottom of the radiator without it bumping into the mobo.

I've got a standard ATX board in my case, and with 25mm fans underneath in a push arrangement, pushing the air up through a thick radiator similar to the RX360, I've got a few mm between the fan housing and my ram slots on the mobo. You might have to put the fans on top in a pull configuration? I hear it's doable, you should just make some seals around the middle fan since it'll have two bars crossing it where the radiator mounts to the case, and you'd have to get rid of the 200mm fan(s).

Those modded 700/800d's are ridiculous price wise for steel cases. Mountain mods cases are just laser cut panels with no cable management and a high price for a low amount of style.

Caselabs MH8/10 and TH8/10 are HPTX for SR2. Also the Little Devil cases might suit your SR-2 as well for European buyers. All of these are aluminium custom designed by OCN members.

This is the TH10 that I'm getting this week, except they only come in black. White was a prototype: http://www.overclock.net/case-labs/9...-th10-1-a.html

Wow, how's the structure rigidity on that HAF-X???. I'm with most, you need a new case. Try Mountain Mods, they have a mb tray option called "HP-ATX" for the SR2.

A U2UFO w/ the SR2 mb option starts @ $350

I am checking out these cases, very awesome. Something nice about the haf-x is that it was only $180, and it's somewhat of a normal sized case. some of these cases I see for hptx boards look like I will barely be able to even pick them up. I am pretty content on the tight space I have to work with on the current build. We actually have 2 almost-identical models like this here, with the haf-x and sr-2 squeezed in. My stance with the situation was "well, I can overclock it somewhat, but maybe I should get a more serious water cooling setup to get better frequencies from the CPUs". I think swapping cases is not exactly an option right now. I have been snooping around looking for a thinner radiator or something like that.

I had the Extended Ascension, Mountain Mods biggest case, its made of aluminum and its not heavy. loaded w/ components and water parts it was still not as heavy as my current build. Only complaint is that they don't have much wire management detail, but a bunch of sticky cable-tie anchors will solve that.
