what now brinky?

i have a feeling that brink will be a hit on the consoles, and PC gamers will mostly skip it.
Let's see...

Brink has

-S.M.A.R.T. system which is a built in parkour system where if you manually do the moves, you do them faster, or you just hold down the button and the game will do it for you but will be slower.

-Amazing customization compared to every other FPS, so you can make your character more unique.

-Higher TTK, meaning it takes more shots to kill somebody, so it's not like every single other FPS where its a few shots you die from spray and praying.

-No camping/snipers, so no more of an entire game everybody camping and nothing happening, or OHK weapons.

-Smaller maps, so it is a true CQC game.

-Blends singleplayer with multiplayer, singleplayer and multiplayer are the exact same, just the difference is whether you are playing with and against bots, or real people, so either you can up to 7 friends can vs bots for the story, or you and up to 15 people can vs each other and do the story.

-An actual story and plot that is unique, not just another war story or zombies, you can read up about it on Brink's site what the story behind it is.

-Made by Splash Damage, they are an amazing team, started off as a community of modders for Quake 3, to a full fledge indie developer making ET: QW, Wolfenstein: ET, and Brink.

It would make sense if you played a real fps like Q3/QL/UT for the majority of the last 10 years and are now pissed that every game is designed for 50 year old geezers who can barely move their mice

so basically it is gonna suck. i see.

there is a reason why we have seen very little of this game and its so close to launch.

i'm 50/50 in getting this game...the graphics are nice but I'm not sure how the gameplay will be. I jsut started BC2 and I must admit its way fun especially when you are in a squad and cooperation is key.

On the fence with this one. Art style is pretty cool, the multiplayer and singleplayer being tied together worries me.
I dont like playing with bots. Especially when their on my team.

Gears of war 2 does the same thing with bots, they only act as placeholders for until somebody else joins.

If so sign me up ASAP.

I think i spent more hours on RTCW and ET than any other game ever.
That's what they're saying. and Yes, I spent an ungodly amount of time on RTCW. Jaymod ftw, on the Big Blitz server. YES!!! But that sever may have been before you started playing...? Idk, it was the home of jaymod, and the clan which reated it all. Clan FU (R.I.P. greatest server / clan ever)
