Difference of opinion. However in your eyes if someone doesn't agree with you they couldn't conceivably be correct in any way, shape, or form. Right?

What difference of opinion? It has been clearly stated Hotz cannot touch Sony's firmware. Clearly now you are trolling.

According to the settlement agreement, Hotz will not be "engaging in any unauthorized access to any SONY PRODUCT under the law," nor will he be "engaging in any unauthorized access to any SONY PRODUCT under the terms of any SCEA or SCEA AFFILIATES' license agreement or terms of use applicable to that SONY PRODUCT, whether or not Hotz has accepted such agreement or terms of use."
From article too.

Considering Sony technically won, by having the more favorable settlement, I'm hoping other companies will use that to their advantage and sue him down to nothing. This kid represents all things disgusting in society, and needs to be brought down.
I'm prepared for the sheeple hate that this will bring, but the truth hurts - and I'm not afraid of speaking the truth.
So this is implying of course, you have NEVER modded Windows/software/game/console system before? Never lapped, or overclocked/overvolted your hardware? Those are all breaches of various agreements.

Get off your high horse. There is absolutely no reason that, after system is purchased, that we cannot modify and enhance the software that comes on it. That would be like Google suing Cyanogen for modding Android VERY extensively.

I hate when people act all high and mighty like you.

Xero.

Agreed; Why do these release groups exist, if none other than spread their name and gain fame. Otherwise they'd just keep it to themselves

Obviously the George is just trying to show off and its getting old.

(i do understand its a different type of hacking but they both have the same goal in a way)
With all due respect, skidrow, rzr, reloaded, they're downright illegal pirates who move around 'warez'. Not really fair to compare them to George Hotz. Do you really think had the razor crews been sued for piracy, they'd finish off with a settlement???

Come on now, don't type just for the sake of typing.

Oh, BTW, have you even looked at these pirate groups' .nfos? All they talk about is how they're the "best **** out there and all other groups are a bunch of flower holding monkeys." and such.

Nothing that required reverse engineering. =)

It voids warranty agreements and doesn't infringe copyrights or require reverse engineering. Matter of a fact, I use the tools provided by AMD and do not break any terms that I agreed to. Either way, that is hardware, not software.

Android is open source. Fail.jpg.

Well, I'm not sure how I am on a high horse. I believe you, or someone who cries just like you, have accused me of taking a stroll on my massive horse before. Understanding what I agree to and acting reasonable doesn't make me all high and mighty. Anyone who holds to their side of an agreement must act all high and mighty, according to you. Pathetic. I hate when people feel inferior when others comprehend rationality and they don't like you.
biggrin.gif:D:D:D:D

LOL YOU KNOW ME SO WELL! IT IS LIKE, WE ARE BROTHERS OR SOMETHING.
