Looking for Advice/Suggestion on GTX 570

Thread Starter
Good Afternoon,

I recently built a computer that included a EVGA gtx 560 ti soc and am enjoying the build. I was surfing the net yesterday and came across EVGA's Step Up Program. After looking through it, it seems I could upgrade my card to a GTX570 HD for $75. Is it worth it? I am looking for advice, opinions, anything.

Thank you.

I'd stick with the 560 and overclock it. The GTX 570s have problems with OCing, frying on stock voltages and such.

I would upgrade since you didn't buy a GTX 560 with a custom cooling like Direct Cu II or Twin Frozr II.
Overclocking this 560 would bring heat and noise which sucks.

. . . Right.

That will be why mine can run at 950 MHz @ 1.1v for hours on end then.

It' your choice, but for £45 ($75) I would say it’s worth it for a higher tier Nvidia card.
